Anyone else ever thought of this?
« Thread Started on Oct 14, 2007, 12:59am »

Ok So I'm playing my Need For Speed Underground when I spin my 89' 240sx to a side view and it looks just like my firebird! Now I was wondering can you mold the front end (bumper) so that it fits the front bumper of mine? They look identical....do you think this would work?

If a body kit is what your looking for, in order to uglify your car... You can find it on ebay. Or go to www.fxdesigns.com

Personally, I wouldn't do that to a nice firebird. You can get yourself a Camaro sport coupe like mine and get an IROC ground effects. It looks so much cleaner.

NO PORFAVOR!!!!! dont be like the girl that molded an integra front end on her 4th gen camaro. Theres a reason why they dont make many body kits for these...THEY LOOK GOOD AS IT IS!!!! Unlike mustangs which are like hondas with 1,000 body kit choices....cause they need the help!

So everyone can see what you have?? Clear would be VERY hard to keep clean too. Not to mention, the sun will kill whatever you have in the engine bay if you don't have it covered most of the time.

That's why I have a car cover lol....I only will have the car uncovered when at the store, car shows, etc. I was thinking of doing it plexiglass, with holes drilled into it so that way it would keep it from overheating. Also I wanted to get something like a mini fan to keep it kewl in there also.

idk about the clear hood. I've seen mainly imports with them and if they do have them, they are show cars only. How about a nice cowl induction hood. Get it in steel so you can park it in the sun and it won't warp. Just some food for thought.

They sell the hood scoop by itself. I saw it in an ad in Chevy High Performance. They start at $150 and you just need somebody to weld it into place. I'll look at the ad tonight and hopefully get a website.
