the plugs are definitely fuel fouled, the old carb was running super rich. I just heard that its a pain in the rear to tune a carb with a turbo. so i would imagine twins would be worse. yeah i needa do a tune up. right now the plugs are accel u-groove header plugs.
i can't do next weekend either im leaving on saturday for 8 days. but maybe biffs friday night. maybe.

Well fix the power valve problem first! then replace plugs and any other ignition problems you think it might be. Should be good after that!

I used to use delco r45ts and r45s big plug, hottest delco plug. We sell these autolite race plugs that short but I don't know if they are any good?

He does the same here, but he runs a carb setup. We've tuned/adjusted it 3 times and HE keeps changing it. I no longer help him due to this.
as for the twin turbo setup, carbs will work. I'm not a fan of them, but it is cheaper if your not familiar with efi tuning.

normally one- that I've seen. It will depend mostly on boost pressure.

Just take a little time to learn it man it's not hard just a lot more effort. You vang let volleys sit very long because they act up. I'm going to get a pretty good wide band I've heard the fast wrenches good I want to be able to do a couple of different cars.

dunno if its an option to you but you can get a EFI with a TBI setup out of trucks.. they have bigger injectors that can handle more cubes like your 383. but im not sure if it will be a good candidate if you want to go turbo.

If i go injected i want to go true fuel injection, one injector per cylinder. and yeah..if i could get rid of the gas smell after i turn it off i wouldnt mind so much.

Nothing like turning the key and having the car start without having to pump up the pedal or pour gasoline into the venturis after the car has been sitting awhile.
A TBI would be a nice little swap that you could learn to tune and buy equipment from Moates. I personally like TPI, but if you are going to big cubes then you will probably want to look at at Holley Stealth Ram or similar setup.

i just don't want to have to buy two setups and two tuning rigs. kinda just wanted to get fuel injection first, learn and tune, then turbo(s). And I like the TPI also, i just know it holds a lot back
