I went out to the place this Friday and man.. I was unexpected to make my visit pretty short.. I felt like I was intruding on such a busy day! Unfortunately I saw my car outside waiting to b worked on and unfortunately it hasn't been touched yet.. I know how a buisness can be backed up and it being a small buisness, but I wasn't expecting these guys to be this backed up!! 4 weeks and it hasn't been touched! I guess I understand how a shop can b backed up.. I had plenty of occassions where mechanics are overbooked.. It's nice I have a extra car to have transportation!! If not I'd b hurting!! Bad! But I hope these guys Finnish my baby before the new year!!

I may be interested in anything interesting you may have for sale.

I just unwrapped the compressor I bought rebuilt and the coil connector hits the bracket and gets in the way. I am going to have to see if I can get it reclocked or something.

That sucks that its been a month and they havent even touched it yet. You are more patient than I am.

i went ahead and put my list for sale.. unfortunately most of the good stuff was sold like motor, trans, rear. i placed an add in the classified or for sale tab and hope theres something for everyone that needs what i have.

lucid- man for some reason that problem with the compressor sounds like a serious pain in the a$$!! hope it wont be to much trouble to fix!
and man i am patient with these guys.. its unfortunate that they havent had the chance to do anything.. if there was another place that would handle it i WOULD!! i have dreams and desires of driving my baby again and the extreme absence of my baby is driving my head agains the wall!! lol.. i'll give them by the end of this month before i loose my marbles!! ha ha!

went to the shop today. man these guys are doing some serious car work! today i saw some REALLY sup'ed up corvettes..! REALLY! if i were to meet these guys in the drags and raced one of these mean puppies.. they would completely smash me! even with my new ls1. today i forgot to leave my egr block-off plate and talked to a nice lady. she told me the wirring harness will b done this week and the wirring will start the following week. so i might get my camaro on mid-november if things goes smoothly.. so those of u who go to the track and see a vette.. BEWARE!!

hey folks!
today i called the shop and brought me some news! all the comotion with them being overbooked with cars to fix was because there was a big race going on last saturday (23). i didnt ask where i took place but the person who picked up the phone said after the weekend was over, the shop is pretty much back to normal.. thank goodness right! does anybody know what they might be talking about? i mean it must be a serious one since there were vettes that easily had over 10k dropped to the engine and such things to make it go oomph.. im stopping by the shop again and finally drop my stainless works headers i ordered at hawks thirdgen.. i hope to get some dates on a deadline. im sure its hard to tell esspecially when they just got started, plus the little projects i asked them to do like exhaust and install my new gauges. ill update tomorrow and inform you all how my visit went.

went today and they were at minimum staff today.. guess people got some days off to take a break from all the mayhem they had to go through the last couple of weeks.. i know how that feels like! but overall i know my car is being worked on, according to the folks up there. hope they are! if not im in for a rude awakening..! but im sure these guys are not like that. dropped off my headers, looked at my wirring harness being assembled and also saw my pile of parts getting ready to be installed.. hope by next week i see my pile get smaller and go into my car! i was thinking of going friday and take some pics of the harness and misc. pics. also i was surprised how super FAST i got my headers, it took 4 days to get them.. not bad compared to spohn.. must be the locaiton.. hawks are in S.C.

im sure its time to update my process with my car. i called up the place today and mentioned my baby is SUPER close in being done. all of my wirring is done, all they need to do is touch up some wires together, also my gauges are in and fully functional, they mentioned they are working on my exhaust and waiting on parts to get it going. they are having some isues with my pedal, i didnt pull the pedal forward in order for me to have WOT. and my ign switch is all crazy, i placed pics on them on myspace, guess all the work caused it to have the little buzzer thing to constantly go on. i will hopefully stop by on friday and see for myself where exaclty all the progress is right now like they claim it is.

hey guys! got some updates.. got a call from the shop saying my exhaust is done.. which means EVERYTHING is done.. from wires to exhaust. got full 3 inch all the way to from headers into of course a Y to a flowmaster muffler. to a good news, theres always a bad news… it seems that the car is not getting enough fuel pressure to accommodate the new 60 psi required to crank the engine and they are maxing out 22psi.. it sux 'cuz i just replaced the damn fuel pump.. so yet another delay from me driving away in my camaro.. MAN!! its been almost 6 months.. im gonna stop by the shop tomorrow and check out the exhaust and take some pics..
