a throttle body spacer is like a velocity stack, it's usually used on TBI style engines where the injectors sit higher up and force more air in like a high rise carb, they are good for use with like MPFI like your engine and NOS where the plate is needed to space out the air and nitrous mixture before it's shot into the manifold. So as far as getting performance out of it, you need engine upgrades before intake stuff like that. I wanted one too before i found out what it does.
