Well driving around now has gotten really annoying an nerve racking with as low as my car sits. It doesn't help the fact that the Hooker Long Tubes sit so low to clear the 5 Speed. Looks like I will be purchasing some new springs because this is ridiculous. I also run a 15x4 rim up from with 165/60/15's. If I went to 165/80's would that make a huger difference? It's sad when I have buy lowering springs to raise my car. Anyone recommend any brands that they've used?

22.8 in vs 25.4in. Your looking at the collector being roughly an inch higher than where it sits now.

You think I should try a new taller tire and see if that fixes the problem or just put some stock springs back in the car?

I'd try the tires. After seeing your car in person, you still have room in the front fenderwell.

I was thinking the same thing. Check this link out. www.jegs.com/i/McGard/671/84532K1/10002/-1In this package they use a 26x6.0-15 on a 15x4 rim. Would you suggest that I use this because that would just give me a little bit more room to play with right? Thanks for the info so far.

I like the combination of tires they use because they match in pattern. That tire will bite, but its life isn't very long. My dad has a pair on his mustang and they lasted for a short time. Mustang's best time was a 12.20 @ 120.

I don't care about the rears. What is your opinion on using those on the front rims of my car? That front tire size would raise it up just a bit more right?

Well let me know when I can get some front springs from you! I'd really like to drive my car and know that at any moment I WON'T rip my exhaust off with the way the roads are here.

I might have a pair coming into the store later this week. They're used, but still in good condition.

Let me tell you how much I look forward to trying to stick stock springs in the front. Pain in the butt.

They appear to be taller than what I have. Would these tires be good on the street though? How much?

One of my customers has a pair on his firebird. He says you can't get hard on the brakes, otherwise you'll slide. Then again, this customer drives his chicken with slicks on the street. PM me for price.
