After about 2 hours of messing with the starter trying to finagle it out of the space between the control arm and the subframe, I almost gave up and set the car on fire. I decided to remove the solenoid and the damn thing fell out and hit the ground.
The reman starter would fit into the hole but I didnt have enough room to get it all the way in, the solenoid was always hitting something. So I removed the solenoid and put the solenoid in while it was nearly fully all the way in.
Its nice to have the car start immediately instead of hearing the whirring sound.
The next thing is probably going to be the compressor. I guess I will rent the A/C tools from Oreillys and pull the compressor clutch off and reclock the clutch coil so it doesnt get in the way of the bracket holes.

I'm a few miles down up the street from there man. The thing is, I have this chronic illness that is a nuisance, so it depends on how i'm feeling whether or not I go out. I really havent shared this with everyone but thats why I havent been going out lately and the main reason it takes me so long to work on my car. If you want to hang out dude, my celly is 210-980-1607
I rented the A/C tools kit from Oreillys and am pulling the clutch off right now. I have to go to autozone to get the clutch pulley puller from them and probably going to Carlisle to get oil and O-rings for the compressor.

I went to go run some errands and stopped for gas. When I tried to shift out of park the shifter cable got all floppy and wouldnt go into gear. I had to call my gf to press the brake while I shifted it manually underneath into gear.
I called the dealership and the automatic shifter cable is discontinued. Looks like I am going to have to wait for Rockauto.
