I know this is probably early but this is better being i'd like to have the Katy, TX December 15th event to be the BBQ for the month. It basically is a BBQ and everyone has been asked to bring a little something. And by a little something, I mean a pack of hot dogs or some buns. Don't need to bring a lot of stuff as there will be A LOT of people.
If you don't know the details of this event, check the GATHERINGS section and read about it. So far there will be about 30-50cars and counting.

Ask for that weekend off. I am going to ask for that day off. And I recommend EVERYONE go to this event. This is going to be the biggest third gen event anywhere near here. We'll all travel in a pack so if you have doubts about whether your car can make it or not, don't worry, you won't be stranded on the side of the road solo. I'd like to see a 10+ car flock of birds and camaros traveling east on I-10. I'd also like to see everyones ride nice and clean, SO!...before we head out anyone who would like to clean their cars, we can all meet up at a self service car wash or something, i've got the detailing products so all you need to bring is some quarters.
I'm going to need some help promoting this event, let everyone you know that this event is going down and we'd like them to attend. I'm going to talk to DVS and see if they can make a showing. Also, I know a couple people on the Thirdgen.org board that aren't members on this board. LETS MAKE A HUGE SHOWING!!

Yes, hopefully it'll be done by then. Tomas, this will make 2 of us that are going, 3 if Cowbird does decide to go. Not quite 10 cars(i'm including DVS/NOMAD in this car count.)
I need a car count for anyone who is going to go.

Yes, we will be traveling in a pack. I don't want anyone to have car problems on the way there and be stuck. It's not THAT long of a drive, but as old as our cars are, anything is possible(knock on wood).
I'm hoping to be there by 1pm which means we'd have to leave at like 9:30-10am?? If anyone wants to wash/detail your ride, i'll be detailing mine the night before and the morning before at my place.
Here is the list so far as to who is bringing what, we still need other items, or for those going, you could bring more of something. I think hotdogs are already covered, like 5people are bringing those.
Mike (1bad91Z) - 12 pack of Dr. Pepper and 1 pack of hot-dogs (we still need more)! Jim(CharcoalBird) - Plates/Cups/Napkins/Utensils yevgenievich - ketchup/mustard LilHot - 12 pack of Sprite and case of drinking water Sonar_un - Cooler with ice, 1 pack of hotdogs/buns, drinks Sue - tater salad / deviled eggs plndtx - sausages / buns Red92RS - charcoal / lighter fluid

Cowbird, we will meet up at HQ if that's cool with those who aren't too far. For those on the east side and south side we could meet off I-10 going towards Houston. I still need to get with the DVS crew to see who is attending from them.
Jon, burgers would be cool. I may bring somemyself. As many people that are attending you shouldn't need to bring anything else.
