Any TPI cars in the bunch?-------If so have you ran them and what are your times? I'm taking my 91 formy to the track on the 2nd. 305, auto, 22lb inj.,headers, flowmaster, and 3.42's. Thinking it will run a low 15. Want to get a base line before I pitch the 305.

I have a 305 TPI with 2.73 gears, runs low 16's depending on how much wheel spin i get at launch. It has an auto with a shift kit and factory TPI system, the only thing i have modified are the EGR walls inside the mouth of the plenum. 3"inch exhaust, including cat to the borla muffler. I'm pretty confident with those 3.42's you are going to be better able to hit that 15 second mark with the exhaust system you have.

I think you should be low 15's with no problem. My carbed 305 has ran a 15.02 at the track with bad tires. I should be at the track friday to watch any way. It would be cool if we have a good number of people going to convoy over to the track

My bird is a TBI 305 converted to a TPI 350. The car the engine came out of used to run mid 14's, or so says my friend, the previous owner. I haven't ran it yet, since the motor's still breaking in and I'm working the last of the bugs out (putting a rear end in it now), but it's got a couple of extras beyond what the original car had, along with a freshly rebuilt motor.
If I had to guess, I'l say mid to low 14's once it gets broken in, but I'm not nearly as good of a driver as my buddy was.

I've got a TPI 305 with headers and a flowmaster exhaust and my buddy and i took it out and ran mid 15's with fat tires and stock gears and stock plenum.

Welcome to the boards Irocvirrilli
What kind of stock gears was he running, 2.73, 3.23 or 3.42?
The 305 TPI is a stout little engine

i don't exactly know i'm pretty sure the 2.73's since the rear end is factory RS equipment
