Does anyone know how involved a job is to replace the intake gasket on my Formula? It's the 5.7L TPI. I just get nervous when thinking about all the crap that has to be removed to get to it, and I'd probably end up with some extra parts when I'm done. Two different places have quoted me anywhere from $400 to $500 including parts and labor, and suggested that I also replace the "valve seals" or something? I'm not to sure about the part name because I was too busy cleaning the doodoo from my shorts when I heard "$500". If anyone knows this job, or a reasonable place to have it done, I'd appreciate it.

Dave whats it doing. If it is smoking it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the valve stem seals.

It is smoking occasionally. I'm thinking it might be better to do the valve stem seals now instead of later, huh?

Wouldn't be a bad idea it is at least a day job if not a weekend to do the seals and intake. I have all the tools that it would take to get this done.
