I need pics of your TPI cars to try and figure out what I am missing where vacuum lines run, emmission lines and so on.
Also parts still needed are a coil bracket, pig tail for the iat sensor. And any other parts that I can find cheap. Let me know what you have to part with.

Sweet... does it shift too hard?
I told him i wanted it to shift soft (but fast) but to shift really hard when at high RPM's so that it will rattle your teeth.
The Trans Go shift kit sounds a bit harsh right out of the box but i wanted to be able to drive my girly around without her complaining.
My other tranny builder built the 700 to shift really really hard one time, and it would jar you awake at 8am. It shifted so hard that it would snap your neck, and this is on a 305. I loved it but eventually i killed that tranny too.
I think the IROC surprised Corey, he was trying to take off and his car bogged and all he heard was the revving of my engine as it went past him.
Did the car finally even out at idle?
It really needs the 02 sensor to get really smooth and with the IAT sensor connected it will purr like a kitten. TPS voltage with key on engine off should be about .54 Volts.

Thomas Ordered the goodies and they were shipped out yesterday. I will let you know when they get here because i added an order of my own to it for my iroc. I am thinking of putting those runners on and tuning it to see what kind of performance i can get out of it.

Check out this article on TPI intakes: www.compcams.com/Community/Articles/Details.asp?ID=1737510521The people that say that the TPI system chokes above 4500rpm are only partially right. The cam selection also plays a big part in what powerband the engine has and these intakes can make power past 5000 rpm. Apparently they had a TPI shootout that pitted several variations, Miniram, Holley Stealth Ram, Lingenfelter SuperRam, and several other intakes like the legendary SLP T-Ram that came out on the Firehawk in an Feb Issue of "Super Rod" in 2005. www.thirdgen.org/techboard/tpi/273727-tpi-shootout-feb-super.htmlIt still befuddles many who believe that the TPI is antiquated or subpar to later EFI systems that the TPI can put up serious numbers that compare with those high dollar systems. A well thought out Tuned Port system with a few choice modifications, such as a better flowing set of heads, and a higher revving camshaft can make a big difference in the kind of power output you can make. Add to that a set of long tube, big tube runners and some porting of the intake and you can be making some good power. Btw Thomas we need to work on your Power Enrichment ....specifically the fuel enrichment part. I told the ECM to add 6% enrichment during acceleration (in power enrichment mode) versus subtracting that amount and it makes a big difference. You can actually feel it go into PE mode and the engine responds nicely. I first went in and added it only up to 4500 RPM and dropped it off dramatically after that like the stock tune. The engine would rev quickly up to that point and then hit a wall and stop revving, and then suddenly start revving again. I went back and added 6% all the way to 5500RPM and the wall disappeared. I imagine we may need to add a wee bit more to yours since your engine is more hungry...

Yea sounds good when can we do this, let me know. I bet that is where my issue is with not pulling past 4500. It has to be rich to make the most power I may also be piking up a set of 29# injectors off of an ls1 as long as they will fit and plug in. I will also be sending to rest of the payment through paypal.

Yeah I am pretty sure you are leaning out pretty fast with those injectors.
The not pulling passed 4500 rpm maybe the cam, but once we get the PE dialed in right we will know for sure. Also, we will make sure you arent maxing out the MAF in the TPS ranges with just a simple tweak.
