Why do you need a steering box you should already have the 2 1/2 turn box in your car if not you can pick them up at pnp for around $30 I think.
The fender will be more difficult to find pnp last time i was there didn't have any in good condition.
Good luck on the shift knob pnp usually has the ball but no button. I have a square one with a shifter.

I have the standard z28 steering box in my car. After driving my dad's IROC you can REALLY feel the difference, you can do a right hand turn without much effort, whereas mine you have to turn the wheel physically ( revolutions) more.
I guess i can replace the whole shifter with a different, more modern year.

I wonder why you don't have the quick ratio box both of my cars have them. If I end up getting the manual steering box for my 84 I will work out a deal for that one, if you still need it.

The housing you can buy new at gm I got one from benson for under $20 but that was over a year ago. I might have a good one at work cause ford used the same housing for the trunk pull downs. The guids look on ebay there are some aftermarket ones that are better.

I got a replacement housing and we installed it today, the guides have crumbled to oblivion and i need some of the bolts that bolt the housing to the bracket at the very bottom.
The car is missing those screw on nuts that hold the tail lights to the car. I also probably need a horn button and a set of shocks and struts pretty soon.
I will post pics of the new ride tomorrow..

Ok i found the hood latch, fender braces and those tail light retaining nuts at the junkyard today.
The previous owner didnt put on any sway bar end links so its all floppy from side to side.
Anyone know what size those self tapping screws are that hold the pull down assembly plastic housing (motor housing) to the bracket on the car?

Whats the status of the yeloow beast in the drive way? The home owners ass. is getting on my ass about it. I have not gotten any written notices in the mail yet, but they keep on knocking on the door asking about it. mick got that white one out today, i am almost done with mine, and I put my new neon in the garage(they were getting pi$$y about my cars to).

Those buttholes, its your own house dammit. Well, i can get her towed tomorrow, i wanted to get Xtreme Towing to do it, but they are kind of iffy. John is still working on the tranny and he ran into a problem.
