It all depends on your set-up. If you are running a small block with a nice cam and some spray, it's worth it. If it's a stock setup, I think you stock ignition would be best and it's getting hot outside so the A/C might go a long way for you. Just my 2 cents.

Use it, the HEI system is hard to beat. It is one of the highest output ignition systems out there. The only systems that can touch it are the aftermarket systems. Ford systems dont come close, HEI systems will fire plugs that are fouled and other systems would fail to fire. To give you a hint how powerful they are, Jeep owners and other car enthusiasts put HEI (high energy ignition) systems in other cars for performance. www.geocities.com/jeeperaz/hei.htmThe guy i bought the transmission but an MSD 6A in his car, and he said the difference is night and day. My buddy from high school that has a Monte Carlo SS with the high output 5.0L says that it makes a big difference revving over 3000RPM. Theres only one person i know that put it says it didnt work. I say if you have it, put it in, it cant hurt. Capacitors can dissappate energy a whole lot faster and can carry a whollop of energy. Its like the way TV's and Microwaves use to power up so fast.
