Try to find a world class T-5 if you can, i think they were made around 1988 They have a special stamping that identifies themselves as a WC. They arent indestructible but might hold up better than the regular T-5s.

this is a WC t-5. its the third one I have gone through in this car. Im gonna through another t-5 in before to long. Found one with a fresh rebuild for 400. once I get my money better im going 6-speed

dude pull it go down to naglitos gear and pick up the parts it needs and we could prolly rebuild it cheaper. What does it do when you try to shift into 3rd or 4th its prolly just the syncros are trashed or something simple

I think I broke the fork for 3rd and 4th gear. The car can be running with my foot off the clutch and I can put the shifter all the way into 3rd and 4th. I have redone this tranny to manny times, and i think its time to get another one in it. I am going to eventually get this one fixed and have a spare t-5 or just sell it.
