Are the transmissions from the v8 the same as the ones in the v6? And would it make any difference if i took the one from the v8 and put it in my car which is a v6

No, different number of splines on the output shaft.

nope, the bellhousing on my old tranny is for V8 so it won't line up on your car, so your best bet is that T-5 swap from pick-n-pull since it's for a V-6 and you're guaranteed a sure fit since it's out of a v6 firebird

The internals are different in the V6 model and V8 model. If you mate a V6 tranny with a V8 engine, you will break that thing.
Also, i am sure you have to check the drive shaft lengths because i think they are different as well.
