Well the fuel pump finally died after sitting in the humid garage for awhile. I jumpered the ALDL connector and jumped it directly at the relay connector but it wont even whine.
Anyone have a suggestion on what brand to buy/not to buy?
I was thinking about putting in a replacement Bosch unit in since they run about $72 with a lifetime warranty.
Both autozone and oreilly's stock Airtex pumps, they are about $52 but I am not familiar with the brand.

Thanks for the input, I kind of figured that too. I don't want to have the fuel pump replaced multiple times if I can help it.

Yeah, I ended up going with the Bosch pump, no one had it in town so I bought the one my roommate had.
It runs great, actually it runs even better than before. I had to crank it quite a bit to get it to start and now it starts right up.
While I had the car over there, I had him replace the seized rear calipers and the brake pads. The core on the calipers was $72, while the calipers themselves cost $42 each!
I do see a definite improvement with the 3.23 gears, this little 5.0 moves now.
