Just curious as to why there is no club/forum activity ever?? I can not check this board for 3 weeks and see that nothing has changed and no new posts? Is everyone really that busy or does no one really care? Just wondering

All I'm saying is what's the point of this site if it doesn't get used? Ive deleted a few posts off here that never got any replies but plenty of views. Guess I'm sticking to thirdgen.org. What a waste because this site could actually be nice with some motivation and participation.

Setup a get together? Being motivational or positive on this forum? I haven't been around due to work. It comes first. The store is currently closed and I've stayed behind to catch up on forum stuff. So, here I am and my 2 cents.

With me being an Instructor in the Military it tends to take up a lot of my time. I wouldn't consider bringing anyone into this site because since I've moved here last May there have only been a handful of new posts here. As you can see at least of half of the the threads on this forum are from a year if not two years ago! I would much rather refer them to Thirdgen.org where their questions would get answered in a timely manner. I've tried being involved on this forum but seriously you can only wait so long for a response before you start going somewhere else. Even the moderators seem to have no interest in THEIR site! Just don't get it.

I've sent people to thirdgen as well, mainly for information and parts for sale. I come here to see if life will ever breathe back into the 3rd gen owners. I feel your pain and hopefully someday a moderator will chime in....before yours & mine are antiques.

Well according to the DMV my car is already antique status! Ha. I know I should have went with antique plates but that simply would have looked ridiculous. Hopefully one day though....

I check this board every other day but don't login. Alot of our founding members have moved on some out of state, others starting a family, others just vanished.

Well Eric, at least you have everyone's attention. Where do you want to go from here? I have a benefit bbq to attend saturday and may be going to lazer quest in the late afternoon. My Sunday afternoon is free, want to hang out/cruise/upgrade/have a beer?

I know there is a VA car show at the medical center on Monday. Also I've been told they have pretty nice car meets in Castroville every 2nd or 3rd Friday of the month. I live near the Marbach and 1604 area. Not sure where you're coming from but just at least to take a look at each others cars and grab a bite to eat or something would be alright. Let me know what you think or anyone for that matter!!

Ive deleted a few posts off here that never got any replies but plenty of views. Maybe its the way you talk to people that turns people off. I cant say for sure, because I have never met you, but I know plenty of people that have, and there seems to be a general consensus about how you talk to people. I am not here to get into a battle of words with you or to belittle you or give you personality pointers. You are in the military and are a grown man. However, it would be appreciated if you show a little common courtesy on our humble forum and fledgling car club. Having said that, there are plenty of kick back, sharp members in this group that are eager to get the ball rolling again. I dont always post up on this board because a lot of you all text or call me directly on my cell phone. Just to remind you all, there is a large Third Gen gathering in Austin next month that includes this club as well as clubs from North Texas, AustinTGO, the Houston group, and some other areas of Texas. The official thread is on Thirdgen.org of course here: www.thirdgen.org/techboard/south-central-region/556645-texas-statewide-gathering-thread.htmlPlease RSVP with Stephen on that thread and let them know to hold a parking space for you. I havent met the Austin guys yet but I am wanting to finally meet Randy and the famous Fyrchkn bodyman that did the amazing budget paint job. The Houston guys will be bringing the LS1s and LT1s out in force. I really want to meet Orr89roc of that group that helped me tune my IROC. Lets organize a cruise up to Austin for next month, I really want to make this a large effort because only a couple of us actually make it to any of the meets in Austin and Houston. If you have my phone number, send me a text message and let me know if you want to meet up tonight.

If I show a little common courtesy?? Please point me in the direction to a post where I haven't because I would like to see it. I think its nice that if people have a problem with me for some reason that I'm for some reason the last to know. If someone has an issue please be adult enough to bring it to my attention instead of talking behind my back. I deal with enough High School style drama at work so I definitely don't want to deal with it off duty.
