Should I get these 16x8 rims cleaned up as best I can and use these for the street an then put on the Summit Star's for the track? Or should I just sell the 16's and just reinstall stock springs in my car? At least the 16's would raise the car up and maybe I wouldn't have such an issue anymore? What do you all think?

What are the issues? And what 16x8's do you have?

I've already made my mind up. I'm selling the Summit rims and tires an putting the stock 16x8's back on. These are the rims I will be putting on. I'm in the process of cleaning them up and polishing them. So if you know anyone that would be interested in the rims in my sig let me know.

I like those factory rims. I have a set on my 86 T/A that also need cleaning up. I'm not sure so tell me if I'm wrong... They are known as the convex wheels, only offered in 85 & 86?

Actually they were first on the 84 Anniversary TA but powder coated white. The last time they were on TA's was I think 87. That was the only year the Formula had them as well. Im not sure of the name though.
