I'm fixing to replace my front pair, they're getting pretty bad. Reconmendations? Good reviews? I have a set of kuhmo's on now and prefer something quieter. They aren't noisy, just don't feel smooth.

I used to have 15x7s and the handling is so much better with a 16x8 rim.
I really like Yokohama tires. My Z28 still has YK420's that are V-rated on them. One of them went bad and they replaced it with a BFG G-Force Sport (the YK420s are discontinued). The BFG's fucking stick HARD. The Yoko's are the quietest tires I have ever owned. The handling is pretty damn good and they are pretty smooth.
I have Kumho H-rated AST Ecstas on the front of my IROC and they are pretty good. I havent really noticed noise from them. They are decent tires, especially for the price. The Z rated Kumho ASX tires I have in the rear just wont wear out, ive been trying.
I had a couple of General Exclaim tires on the car once. They were about the same as the Kumhos, they just wore out fast and were a touch smoother than the Kumhos.
The Goodyear Gatorbacks that were old and dry rotted were fucking amazing. When I bought the IROC it had Goodyears on them and they were awesome tires. Too bad they dont make them anymore.
BF Goodrich, Yokohama and Toyo Tires are very good brands. The tire distributor that I used to work with told me that Toyo is the #1 selling brand.
Edit: G-force sport not KDW

Whats the cheapest tire? I just need to get tires on them so I can run them. Tired of my 15x7s.

I order all of my tires from www.treadepot.com. They are cheap and always seem to get here in about 3 days.

I'll check out those falkens also. I need tires bad. Mine are slick as snot. Especially if its even hinting at damp roads. Makes life a little too interesting sometimes.

its all good, I ended up getting a set of fisk classics for the front and some falken ze-502s for the rear. they're way quieter than what was on there. Then again, my tires weren't bald but I think they were already rotting.
