wow, sorry I missed so much guys. It might be another month or so, but I might have one of my customers join us. I think ya'll will love his car. If there is an "official" meet, can it be started on a new thread? That might help with people stopping by. townaj- 6mpg ! ever considered going efi? I've been getting 12ish with a/c - 16~18 with out a/c in the city.

Yup new thread but 1st we need to agree when. We agreed on Lion and Rose pub so we just need a date
On a different note I averaged 17mpg last tank.

power valve block offs will fix one of your issues. Just gotta track down your ignition problem that is causing the backfires. I have an extra coil at my house that we can switch out to see if that fixes it.

id listen to 2fast for love on this one. its WAY cheaper going carb. they sell intakes and blowers like they want to get rid of them versus EFI. not only that.. carbs have an awesome bottom end wich is what dragsters look for in the quarter.. not only that, ive seen top brands have superchargers and turbo setups for carbs.. but doing all that the right way is expensive.. things start breaking once you go over 500 hp. plus carb can give you that nice lobe once you put in a nice cam!

Monkihead please don't say it's Noel, that kid is so annoying he keeps going by my workplace with his two bit piece looking for trouble. Aj we do just need to get a hold of your car and give it a good tune. Don't bother with platinum plugs or anything just regular delcos or Ngk autolite coppers

I use NGk UR5's. Never had a problem with them. They are a shorter plug to which work great with the clearnance of my long tubes's.
